A third of Russian first-graders cannot cope with the load

In the first days of September, the results of the work of specialists from the Southern Federal University appeared on the network. In the course of their research, they found out that not all first-graders find the learning process easy.

The survey among scientists turned out to be rather local, only 82 schoolchildren took part in it. However, this was enough to draw certain conclusions. 61% of the children surveyed admitted that they like to study and they go to the second grade with a desire and a good mood. 29% do not show much zeal for learning, 10% even answered that school gives them as many positive emotions as negative ones. The analysis of the emotional background showed that 45% of respondents had it on the eve of the next academic year in the norm (close to the usual indicators), 40% had positive emotions, 10% – negative.

In addition, experts have found that only two-thirds of first-graders are able to withstand current loads. 27% are in a state of compensated fatigue, when strength is restored only with a periodic decrease in activity. 4% experience constant overwork, while 1% – overexcitation, which is also not at all beneficial for a young body.
