A resident of London lost 38 kg thanks to a selfie

It is generally accepted that the camera adds extra pounds to us. But it turns out that with its help you can lose weight. How to do it, said a resident of the UK.

38-year-old Sheena Wader lost 38 kg in a year and three months thanks to a selfie. Every Monday, the woman took a picture of herself on her phone. According to her, it was this simple ritual that inspired her, stimulated her to new victories and allowed her not to stop there.

“I tried to lose weight before, but I reached a certain weight and quit. I think this happened for two reasons: firstly, I simply did not realize how far I could go in the matter of losing weight, and secondly, I did not fix the intermediate results in any way, ”the Englishwoman shared.

Sheena lives in London with her husband and 4-year-old son. Previously, the family’s diet was far from what is commonly considered healthy: they often ate fast food and did not limit portions. With the onset of quarantine, Sheena had more free time, and she began to cook herself.

In January last year, a woman declared war on extra pounds. What was it? Sheena began to watch her diet, started exercising regularly, and regularly took selfies on Mondays. “There were moments when my weight lingered on one figure or even increased, but then I looked at the photos and realized that this did not affect my appearance in any way. I had visual proof that the “weight loss course” was taken and I was moving in the right direction, ”says Sheena.

For the first selfies, the woman posed in dresses, and then, when she began to actively lose weight, she changed them to tight-fitting T-shirts and leggings.

Despite the amazing result, Sheena is not going to stop there. “I achieved my goal and lost 38 kg, and now I want to get in perfect shape and pump up a little. I am 100% sure that I succeeded only because I regularly photographed myself. And by the way, I will continue to do this, as this little thing radically changes the whole process of losing weight, ”she shares.

Sheena’s example is sure to inspire many women. And if you have tried to lose weight more than once or are just planning to do it, take the advice of an Englishwoman into service. After all, as you know, in the fight against excess weight, all means are good if they work and do not harm health.

Obstacles and moments of despair are encountered on the way to any goal. It is possible that when losing weight, it is your photos, at least with a small result, that will help you not to quit what you started. And then you yourself will be surprised how much you can achieve and how quickly and easily part with excess weight. But, of course, this is only possible with a combination of a healthy diet and adequate exercise.
