A 38-year-old woman who became pregnant with COVID-19 is dead. After a few days of the woman’s stay in the hospital in Poznań, doctors decided to perform a caesarean section. The newborn is under intensive care, and his condition is described by doctors as serious.

In the sixth month of pregnancy, the woman was admitted to the Clinical Hospital. Heliodor Święcicki in Poznań with acute symptoms of COVID-19. Already during the transport, the 38-year-old was connected to breathing apparatus. According to the doctors’ reports, the woman had very serious breathing problems when she was admitted to the hospital.
