– Talking to the medical staff, we knew that a few days ago the situation was completely different and difficult decisions were made regarding life and death – recalls Michał Madeyski, paramedic, participant of the Polish medical mission in Lombardy.
– The media does not reflect the horror of the situation there – explains Madeyski. – On TV we watched pictures of a very large number of patients, bustling doctors, and upon arrival we saw a deserted city – he recalled. How would he rate his stay in Italy during the worst time of the pandemic? What did he see when he looked at the Italian health service? How does it evaluate its performance?
