This Saturday in the show on STS we will see 26-year-old Olesya Propadimova from Yekaterinburg weighing over 100 kilos! How much she will lose weight after participating in “Weighted People”, the audience will see for themselves. The girl, who has been a fat woman all her life, told Woman`s Day how pleasant it was to lose weight under the supervision of specialists!

Olesya works as the head of the financial department at the hardware cosmetology center. Therefore, she had the opportunity to take care of her face. But the figure left much to be desired …

“I was never thin, even as a child,” she says. – If the average weight of a first-grader is about 25 kilograms, then mine was 37-40 kg. And every year I added more and more. At the age of 16, I began to try different diets, but after each, the pounds thrown off not only returned, but a couple of three were also added. Calorie counting and protein nutrition did not help. And there was never any sport in my life – I didn’t love it, and I couldn’t think that I would ever be able to love it.

A casual acquaintance became a couple!

With Vanya Olesya were just acquaintances …

I learned about the existence of the Weighted People show at the end of the first season – I watched episodes on the Internet. Even then I thought – why not take part in it? But it turned out that the casting for the second season had already been completed. On February 13 last year, the second season started – right on my birthday. Then I definitely decided that I wanted to participate in the third season.

And – hurray, I found information about the casting. There was only a problem: the producers decided to make the third season “doubles”, that is, I needed one more person to participate, and we will be judged based on the results of both weight loss.

There are no puffy friends among my friends, and I turned to a friend from Moscow, Ivan Grishanin – we are not close friends, we saw each other only a few times, however, we often wrote off. I asked Vanya if he would like to participate with me. And he replied that he also thought about this project!

When we left the Moscow casting, I looked at Vanya and said: “We will get through! We can do this”. And so it happened. A couple of weeks later we were invited to the medical commission, and after that they announced that we were in the project.

Our total weight at the start of the show was over 300 kilograms!

The best motivation is a new dress!

Vanya and I and 18 other participants were accommodated in a country house without any connection with civilization: no telephones, no internet, no TV. But there are two gyms: power and cardio.

Our training begins with walking on a treadmill, then the load becomes more intense – we even add rowing for a while and jogging in our village. For the first time in my life I ran in the fresh air, and I liked it. We try to break our own records – it spurs us on.

Our trainers are Irina Turchinskaya and Denis Semenikhin. They are the coolest professionals I only know! Nobody could motivate us better: the phrase “imagine, soon you will become thin, beautiful and you can buy any dress” works flawlessly for all girls! They will never refuse advice and help.

Before we start training, we are told how to eat right and tasty. The best thing is to eat every few hours, then you don’t have time to get hungry. A nutritionist talks about the principles of proper nutrition, about the composition of products. The chef teaches us how to properly process, prepare, weigh these products. The main thing is to find the right proportions for yourself.

In a word, life on a project is like a vacation in a pioneer camp: we are fed, we are trained by professionals, there is a doctor and even a psychologist. I really like it, which is why it is so easy to lose weight!

Both partners are weighed once a week. The couple that threw off the least of all kilograms is eliminated. Before “X-day”, everyone is always nervous, so sometimes you have to spend all night in the gym, as a result, we only sleep for a couple of hours.

We wear wide T-shirts and pants all the time – we don’t see that we are losing weight. Therefore, every weigh-in becomes a pleasant surprise! You only notice this when you put on your clothes brought from home – the scales don’t lie.

The elements of the show – 20 cameras watching you, the editor – were embarrassing at first, but I quickly adapted. And some of the participants still do not have enough space, a circle of communication. But we try to help each other, to have fun: in our free time we arrange discos, play snowballs, arrange races.

Vanya, of course, supports me the most. When I was exhausted on the treadmill, he stood next to me and suggested that I could handle everything. Vanya is always collected, full of strength, never gave up weakness and did not succumb to my panic!

I think that later, after the show, I will no longer be able to return to my usual way of life. I used to go to work almost immediately after waking up, so I might not have had breakfast. It’s the same with lunch, so the main meal was at dinner – then I’m ready to eat anything.

Now I understand how important breakfast is. Here’s my sample daily diet for today:

* for breakfast – porridge, preferably oatmeal with low-fat milk, with the addition of fresh fruit;

* after 3-4 hours a snack – 10 grams of nuts or fruits;

* for lunch – porridge with meat (for example, 50-60 g of chicken or turkey, 100 g of buckwheat) and salad. Or it could be fish, soup;

* for dinner – vegetable salad with seafood or fish, cabbage with shrimps.

And, of course, give up sweets, chips and crackers.

When it comes to exercise, the most effective exercise for weight loss is cardio.
