“How beautiful this world is” – this is the motto of the 4th International Exhibition of Floral Design and Landscape Design “Blooming Planet”.
More than 26 landscape miniatures are presented on an area of 60 hectares: parterre flower beds and , landscape compositions using rare trees and shrubs, with elements of wicker and vertical structures, natural stone, reservoirs and original sculptures.
This year the exhibition is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the All-Russian Exhibition Center. The central project is the composition “City of Friendship” located in the parterre between the “Friendship of Peoples” and “Stone Flower” fountains. The history of landscape gardening art in Russia is represented by the Lefortovo parterre of the 50th century, in the design of which tropical and subtropical plants were used, which were used to decorate the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition-VDNKh in the XNUMXs of the last century. This composition is located on the Central Alley to the right of the entrance.
You can admire the unusual flower beds not only on the Central Alley – the zones of the Friendship of Peoples and Stone Flower fountains, the Northern and Southern rose gardens are also involved in landscape projects.
