The city of Vigo is once again the protagonist of economic activity around the world of the sea, with the celebration of a new edition of the Conxemar Fair
The Conxemar Association returns with a new edition of its Fair-Congress to achieve value in the marine world in its variety of fish and frozen products.
The main producers and processors of the seafood freezing industry will be present at this new edition of the International Frozen Seafood Fair.
As in previous editions of the Conxemar Fair, the reference fishing port in Europe, that of the city of Vigo, will for a few days be the center of commercial activity in the transformer, distributor, importer and exporter of the products of the frozen sea.
During the 4th, 5th and 6th of October, uninterrupted from 10,00:18,00 am. at 772:XNUMX p.m., you can attend the eighteenth edition of the International Fair of Frozen Seafood, at the city’s fairgrounds (IFEVI), at Avenida do Aeroporto, XNUMX, in the city of Vigo in Pontevedra.
More than 30.000 m2 of exhibition are waiting for the professional visitor to attend the event, to show its huge showcase of new products and services in what the frozen marine world is about.

World Congress of Cephalopods
Today, October 3, as prior to the celebrations of the Conxemar Fair, the 5th Edition of the World Congress of Cephalopods.
The event is co-organized by the FAO and Conxemar, becoming a reference meeting for professionals in the sector, as well as for experts, scientists and authorities who develop their activity with the marine environment.
The world of Cephalopods, Squid, Sepia, Squid, Octopus, etc … will be aware of what happened in the event, mainly due to the great shortage of raw material that in recent months has been a real focus of analysis to regulate and maintain the habitat of the species that make up this family of animals .
Fisheries ministers, FAO experts and international industry executives will analyze in Vigo the resources, markets, supply and use of the main species of Cephalopods.
In the professional meeting, the current resources and the future evolution of the supply in the different international markets will be known.
Likewise, the advances in sustainability that the different groups and countries are carrying out to treat fishing from an ecological scope will be known first-hand.
