PSYchology

In his new book, social psychologist Hakob Nazaretyan talks about world history in the context of the development of the universe, about a possible change in the vector of development of cultures and the relationship between ethics and technical progress. Reading is not easy, but extremely interesting.

Hakob Nazaretyan’s scientific specialization is cultural anthropology and social psychology. However, in his research, he has long gone beyond them and has risen to a level that can only be called global. In his new book, Hakob Nazaretyan reflects on the biggest problems. About megahistory — the history of mankind in the context of the development of the universe, about the mutual influence of human ethics and culture and scientific and technological progress. About the trends in the development of civilization and a possible sharp change in the vector of this development, which, quite likely, awaits us in the coming decades. Building his concept, Hakob Nazaretyan freely operates with huge amounts of knowledge from various fields — from physics and biology to psychology and history, along the way introducing completely new scientific concepts — such as, for example, the bloodshed coefficient of a particular century of human history. All this makes the book «Nonlinear Future» not at all easy reading, but extremely interesting. Probably, we can say that acquaintance with this book will become an unconditional step in the development of any reader. And perhaps the author can already be satisfied with this.
