A curious incident happened the other day with the Norwegian Olympic team, which is in Pyeongchang at the Olympic Games. True, it was not the athletes themselves who made the surprise, but the cooks of the national team.
Arriving in South Korea and planning a menu for the national team, the chefs ordered a batch of chicken eggs from a local company – a total of 1500 eggs for the national team of 109 athletes.
Imagine their surprise when, during the acceptance of the delivery, it suddenly turned out that they had brought them 10 times more eggs – as much as 15 thousand!
Chef Style Johansen told the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten that literally “half a truckload of eggs” had been delivered to them, the quantity was “absolutely incredible” and “there was no end to the delivery.”
The thing is that when ordering, the chefs used an online translator and, as they say, “something went wrong”.
Fortunately, the compliant sellers agreed to take back some of the eggs. And from the rest of the chefs, according to Style, they will make omelets, boil eggs, cook salmon and eggs. “I hope we will have to make a lot of sugar cookies, because we give it to athletes for the won medals,” the chef said optimistically.
