A man bought a house and you won’t believe what he found in the basement – video

The previous tenants left him a very peculiar “gift”. They seemed to be either very absent-minded or incredibly violent.

Do you know the feeling of forgetting something? Turn off the stove, iron, close the window? Surely familiar. It’s like in the movie “Home Alone”: some thought sits in the subcortex, haunted until you understand what kind of splinter it is in the brain.

This feeling was clearly unfamiliar to the owners of the St. Louis home for sale. Otherwise, it is unlikely that the man who bought the house found such a “gift” in it – seeing it, he could not believe his eyes.

“I just bought a house and there’s a pit bull in the basement,” the local animal rescue bell rang. “I don’t know how long he has been there, I just moved in today.”

The new owner of the home was afraid to climb up to the dog himself. After all, a pit bull is a powerful, fighting dog. You never know what’s on his mind. But the volunteers were not afraid. And for good reason.

“When we opened the door to the basement and shone a flashlight there, we saw a sad drooping tail. As soon as the dog realized that they had found it, it began to jump so that it almost suffocated – someone put it on a chain there, the pit bull could not escape, ” Natalie Thomson told, one of the dog’s saviors.

When the pit bull was finally released, he didn’t look like an aggressive fighting dog at all. He rode, climbed to hug everyone, kissed the faces of his saviors.

Who are these heartless people who left the dog to starve to death? As it turned out, not only the animal was left in the house. The previous tenant just threw mountains of rubbish and unnecessary things there. But to justify such cruelty with ordinary absent-mindedness …

Meanwhile, the pitbull kept jumping and jumping. He was named so – Jumping Bob.

“Bob has incredible fortitude. Considering that he was abandoned without food and water, it’s even strange that he was so happy about people, ”says Natalie.

According to the girl, Bob’s temper was wonderful. It turned out that this is still a puppy. The dog simply adores all his new acquaintances.

“He is an energetic and affectionate dog, now that he is free, he is just happy,” smiles Natalie.
