A journey through the landscapes and flavors of Spain
This is the title of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment its new dissemination campaign with which it attends the next Madrid International Tourism Fair
Within the framework of the activities of the MAGRAMA is to support national products, and on this occasion, the shopping basket is peninsular, and the initiative to attend the next edition of Fitur is to globalize excellent Spanish products within the framework of the different geographical areas where are produced.
During the next days, from January 20 to 24, in Pavilion 9, stand C12, the Set of the ministry will be housed, with its different actions scheduled for the occasion.
The trip along the places and landscapes of our geography, is not understandable without paying attention to the food products that are made in them, as well as the local gastronomy, hence the symbiosis that it wants to offer, joining the landscapes with the flavors to have the perfect complement to the tourist activity, leisure and gastronomy.
Within the program of events that they prepare for the occasion, the products of the most outstanding areas of the country will be announced, through tastings of the delicacies of their Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indications (PGI).
These certifications are the best showcase for the visitor which products are indigenous to each area and which in turn have their production controlled from the regulatory field, which the EU wants to guarantee through these acknowledgments of differentiated quality, as a consequence of its special characteristics.
The best way to get to know Spain, traveling, eating and drinking
Conferences such as the one that will bear the same title as the campaign slogan, “Travel through the landscapes and flavors of Spain”, led by the journalist Roberto Brasero and the cook Michelangelo of the CrossIt will be a faithful exponent of how to enjoy traveling through the Peninsula, “savoring” each house, each place and of course, each restaurant … with the best scenery, which is that of the landscapes of the towns of Spain.
The wealth and great variety of Spanish gastronomy is the result not only of the hand of its creators, but also of the excellent products that we have in our lands and coasts.
To do this, it is intended to segment each activity of the event into a Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) or Protected Geographical Indications (PGI) and that the speaker of your represented product has an identity of its own. We will see then:
- Why you should travel to La Gomera or La la DO of the Wines of Lanzarote and discover something more than sun and beach within the Canary Islands.
- Natural Roads like those of Montfalcó in the Mont-Rebei Gorge, the Ebro in the Valle de Tobalina, or the one known for other sizes such as that of the Silver Route but now with food and not metal involved.
- Participate in the celebrations of the 100 years of Natural parks with the outstanding diffusion of Cabañeros or the exhibition of the recently assigned mind as that of the Sierra de Guadarrama, as well as participating with the whole family in the game of the goose but instead of birds, with natural parks.
