- Secure the screw in the glasses. If the screw holding the shackle or the glass loosened a little – if possible, tighten the screw and drip a drop of varnish to fix it.
- Don’t lose your buttons. If there is no time to alter a button that is about to come off, use a colorless varnish, dropping it into the center of the button on the threads.
- Protect your bathroom from rust. To prevent hairspray or shaving foam cylinders from leaving rust spots on the bathtub or sink from a long stay in a damp room, cover the bottom of each cylinder with a layer of colorless varnish.
