A girl with two uterus carried a baby without knowing about pregnancy

18-year-old Ebony felt as usual, there was no belly, and even her periods never strayed.

One evening, British resident Ebony Stevens had a headache. “I’m probably tired,” the girl decided and went to bed. She woke up in the hospital four days later, with a scar on her stomach and a baby in her arms. How shocked she was, it’s hard to imagine. After all, Ebony did not even suspect that she was pregnant.

As the girl’s mother, Sheri, later said, at about ten o’clock in the evening, her daughter shouted from the bedroom that the pain was becoming unbearable. The girl was nauseous and her mother helped her to the bathroom. And there Ebony started having convulsions – everything looked like an epileptic seizure. Sheri, terrified, called an ambulance. The first thing the doctors asked about was if Ebony was pregnant.

“No,” Sheri replied with complete confidence.

“Or maybe all the same, yes?” – the doctors insisted.

And then Sheri saw that Ebony just had a belly growing in front of her eyes. As the doctors explained, the convulsions made the child active – that’s why the stomach appeared. The girl was taken to the hospital and had an emergency caesarean. And then they were immersed in a drug-induced coma so that Ebony could recover from preeclampsia – it was this complication of pregnancy that caused convulsions.

When the girl finally came to her senses four days later, she was given her child – a healthy girl weighing 3 grams was born. Judging by the weight, the pregnancy was full-term.

“You got something mixed up. That’s not mine!” Ebony tried to give the baby to the nurse. She did not understand anything until her mother explained to her what had happened.

It was hard to believe, but it was even more difficult to argue against the weighty evidence lying on Ebony’s chest. The baby was named Elodie.

As it turned out, the girl was born with a rare pathology in the development of the reproductive system – she had two uterus. Therefore, Ebony continued her period, she felt as usual, not suspecting that her daughter was growing and developing in another womb. And the stomach did not grow due to the specific location of the uterus – bending towards the back.

“The doctors said that Elodie is a miracle. Women with a pathology like Ebony have been trying for years to get pregnant, to no avail. And if they succeed in conceiving, they often cannot bear a child, “Sheri said. Daily Mail.

A week later, the young mother returned home with her daughter.

“I was completely unprepared to become a mother. But I do not regret it at all. I wouldn’t trade my little miracle for anything in the world, ”says Ebony.
