A flower with blue flowers in your garden

Blue is a rare guest in the palette of our garden, but it is he who is able to give a unique charm to a suburban area and even create an atmosphere of coolness in the middle of the summer heat.

Flower with blue flowers

In our gardens, blue flowers are quite rare. As a rule, flower beds are painted in shades of pink, yellow, white, burgundy, but not blue. If flowers of an unusual color are found in our suburban areas, then, as a rule, these are bright shades of orange (poppies), lilac (primroses, peonies) and red-black (one of recent trends in landscape design).

It is very difficult to find truly blue flowers, but if you set a goal, your garden will stand out advantageously with its unusual palette.

Classic blue flowers – cornflowers and bells. In addition to them, the heavenly palette of the garden can be diversified by irises, blue bush hydrangeas, summer phloxes.

Blue can be the first color in your garden thanks to primroses – crocuses, scrub, hyacinths, I persuade and muscari. Blue lupins will help create a spectacular spot of color where other flowers do not grow – in the shade of a fence or tall trees, along the walls of outbuildings.

According to the principles of color therapy, blue gives calmness and tranquility. So, this is an ideal choice for a summer cottage, where we rush to recuperate after a week of work.

On a hot day, a blue garden can give you a feeling of coolness. To enhance the cooling effect, choose plants with grayish foliage rather than bright green. In addition to blue and blue flowers, such a flower bed may contain plants of other “cold” shades – for example, white or mauve.

Blue flowers, even in small “doses”, transform the flower bed and make your flower garden truly luxurious.

Plant blue pansies among your multicolored sisters, and classic blue cornflowers next to your white, pink and crimson brothers – and your flower bed will become much more cheerful and brighter.

Blue bells in a wicker basket

One of the most fashionable gardening trends is a mobile flower bed, also known as container gardening. All you need is to plant flowers in pots, flowerpots and boxes, and then create flower arrangements in those parts of the garden where you please.

Blue and blue flowers are an indispensable part of these mobile beds. Even simple bells in a wicker basket can decorate a recreation area or a summer veranda.
