“The fitness forum is being held in Chelyabinsk for the 12th time, it is held especially for young people, for students – a ticket for all classes costs 800 rubles, and for one – only 100. The project was created with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle.
12 years ago, a sociological survey was conducted, and it turned out that the majority of young people do not even know the word “fitness”! Now it would be nice to conduct a similar survey too. Judging by the number of people attending classes on the forum – 250-300 per class, we can say that the situation has changed.
For me, as a choreographer, it is important that we always have new items on the forum. Now contemporary has become popular, and we have it. Until now, for many, choreography is classical ballet. About 20 years ago, it was believed that it was too late to start dancing at the age of 12-14. And now – at any age you can. Choreography is all the rage now. And you don’t have to go to Moscow to see all the new items. This is also important for dance teachers. And our teachers always bring new music.
In addition, at the fitness forum you can see new items in sportswear, new developments in fitness nutrition, sports cosmetics. “

Dance Alexrobic, Cardio Funk
Alexey Vasilenko, trainer of a network of fitness clubs, methodologist-teacher of the Federation of Fitness-Aerobics of Russia:
“I will give classes Dance Alexrobic (dance aerobics) and Cardio Funk (light dance moves in hip-hop style). Also on Sunday there will be a master class for fitness instructors and everyone on the bodyART program.
The first lesson is dance aerobics. The direction has existed for a long time, originated as one of the modifications of classical aerobics. The training effect is achieved by learning simple choreographic combinations that consist of aerobic steps. The word “dance” in the title suggests that all of these aerobic steps are stylized (performed in a variety of dance styles). At the end of the class, a beautiful long choreography is obtained, which the participants do several times to a separate song. Thus, a small performance will take place, a small show, where each person in the hall is a full-fledged participant in the action.
The second lesson – I call it “a lesson for those who cannot learn to dance, but dreams about it very much” 🙂 Simple elements of the hip-hop and new jack swing styles are learned separately and then combined into a long stylish choreography. The class members develop coordination and learn to move in the style that is now most often referred to as MTV-dance. At the end of the lesson, all the choreography is performed for a separate song, selected specifically for this combination – musical accents, the mood of the song, and so on are played out. Once again, every person who comes to the lesson becomes an artist, singer and dancer in their own 3-minute video clip.
BodyART is a worldwide popular fitness concept developed by fitness specialist Robert Steinbacher (Switzerland). He views the human body as a unity of body, mind and soul. Therapeutic exercises, exercises for strength and flexibility are combined with classical breathing techniques: muscles are strengthened and stretched, stress is relieved, back pain is eliminated, posture is improved, and a person can better understand and feel his body. “
“I have been going to fitness forums for a long time, and I have known Lesha Vasilenko personally for seven years, I follow his work and see that he is a progressive teacher. He teaches people all over the world. He has his own choreography, he is positive, he has a kind energy that captures the soul. “
“I love Vasilenko very much. He is charismatic. He is a great instructor – he gives interesting combinations, works in different styles. Most of all I love his fitbo. Many love! After all, you can energetically, like in boxing, wave your hands, throw out all the accumulated negative. I like the load it gives. “
“I graduated from a sports university with a degree in fitness trainer. Now I teach in various fitness clubs in Chelyabinsk. Why fitness? I believe that this particular sport combines all aspects necessary for a person: it strengthens health, gives additional energy, as well as the ability to “carve out” your body to your liking. After each lesson, you feel a surge of energy and re-experience the taste of life! All for fitness! “

Maria Greif, dancer of the Chelyabinsk Theater of Contemporary Dance, teacher, choreographer of the Chelyabinsk Drama Theater named after Nauma Orlova:
“The class is a mix of dance styles and author’s choreography. Lesson material includes warm-up with dance elements that will be included in the expanded dance phrase. When composing dance combinations, we will pay special attention to coordination and principles of movement (animation).
This concept is also closely related to rhythm, it means that a single movement is decomposed into its component parts, phrased or multiplied. Let’s consider animation using a step as an example. A step is not only a movement associated with movement in space, but also the transfer of body weight from one leg to another. In animation, several movements are performed in the interval between steps, but only one is associated with the transfer of body weight. “
“I want to do everything, but definitely to Maria Greif’s class. Contemporary style is closer to my soul. I heard a lot about Maria as a teacher. She dances in the theater of modern choreography, and I always go to the theater’s concerts. “
“I will definitely go to the class of Maria Greif, because she is engaged in modern choreography and it is interesting for me to get acquainted with her technique. She is one of the soloists of the theater of modern choreography. She has free plastic, and there is a feeling that the body is out of control. But no! Everything’s under control. It moves as if it were boneless. “
“I know this person from my studies at the institute. However, in recent years we have not maintained close contacts, and I wonder how she grew up over these “twelve” years – she was a “classic”, a ballet girl. Of course, I saw her on stage. What is she like as a teacher? “
“I’m going to her class. She is one of the best professionals in modern, jazz modern and contemporary. “

Hip-Hop Street Choreography, House Dance, Experimental
Alexander Oshkin, international presenter, street choreographer, dancer, model, actor, stylist, creator of his own style Aero New Style:
“Experimental Choreography is something that does not fit into the format of dance directions, goes beyond standard movements, turns the concept of dance upside down, bewitches, and you start to move in a different space and dimension. Experimental Choreography surprises you more and more every time. The newest, strangest, most beautiful dance style and more.
House from Jack’s Garret – house has reached the world level. It is danced and taught in all the best dance studios in the world. It is constantly changing, steps, movements, technique of execution are being modernized, and this makes it even more interesting. Interesting steps and movements under a high-quality European house.
Hip-Hop Street choreography – sounds come to life before your eyes, shades of rhythms become understandable, non-standard choreography and enveloping music will bring a fresh wave to your creativity. A mix from Old School Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop New Style, Popping, Locking, Krump, Jazz Funk, Break Dance … It’s not just a dance, it’s a whole story!
This year we are focusing on Hip-Hop, House, Experimental. Every year I try to bring something new, interesting, exciting, and this year I have prepared a couple of intriguing surprises. We will look at ordinary things from a different angle, learn new useful skills that can be applied in all dance styles and directions, regardless of the level of training.
I advise those who come to the event to visit all possible classes, try as much of everything new and unknown as possible. It will be very interesting. See you soon, friends of the dance. “
“I want to go to Sasha Oshkin. It is not the first time in Chelyabinsk. I saw how unusual his classes were. He has his own chips. He shows, and the students repeat. And when finally everyone starts to move in the same way, there is … a hang-up! And all this mass begins to float. Everything with him is fast, rhythmic, and mesmerizing. And such a high rate that I, honestly, am afraid not to be in time. “
“I have been going to master classes by Sasha Oshkin for the third year in a row – I really like his style and the way he teaches. Few people study the experimental style in our city, so it is especially interesting to visit it. “
“Oshkin always has interesting classes, and in itself he is very interesting. He is very bright, unusually dressed – always fashionable accessories: glasses, arm ruffles, hats. He is both sociable and pleasant to talk to. “

Alexander Tronov, choreographer, participant of the Dances program:
«I offer classes in Chelyabinsk Funk и Party dance… Party dance is a special direction, it does not have a distinct stylistic unity. In fact, Party dance developed as a dance in clubs, discos. People were resting in this dance. Participants of different ages, with different capabilities, motivation and desires will come to the fitness convention – and Party dance will not be difficult for anyone. And it will not hurt, I would say. I myself sometimes go to such jam sessions – both to have fun and to replenish my knowledge.
Funk is one of the first street styles from which hip-hop culture emerged. Funk is a direction that is also well suited for such conventions, where people come who do not dance professionally and do not participate in dance battles. And I also say Funk, but I mean Locking. And this is not to scare those who intend to buy tickets with an unfamiliar word. Funk is a different tempo.
Everyone who comes will definitely get a good mood, I will try to use different movements. “
“He hasn’t come to Chelyabinsk yet, and I haven’t been to his class, as I’m not familiar with him as a teacher. While for me he is a person from TV – he took part in the “Dances” program, so it’s interesting to watch live. “
“Tronov is a former member of the Dances project, which is interesting, of course. I would like to discover something new for myself. And I like his choreography, something reminds me of Oshkin’s style. By the way, they teach at the same school. “
“First of all, I would like to visit Sasha Tronov. I am attracted by the fact that he is a member of the Dances project, and for me the lesson will be a good experience for him. He is a versatile dancer and is very developed in the directions that interest me – hip-hop and contemporary. “
