Most breast lumps found are benign. The situation described by you does not have to be a symptom of cancer! In addition, a mammography should be performed and if there is a suspicion that the lesion has the radiological features of a malignant nodule – a biopsy should be performed. Only the histopathological result is the basis for the diagnosis (either a tumor or a benign lesion).
