At birth, a person uses diaphragmatic breathing, which involves the diaphragm, a muscle located between the chest and abdomen. With this type of breathing during the cycle, which includes inhalation-exhalation, the chest does not change in volume, filling with air occurs due to the abdomen – it inflates and falls off. But an inflated belly does not look very aesthetically pleasing, so gradually a person begins to breathe with his chest, and his stomach draws in in every possible way, and even tightens it with belts.

Chest breathing does not allow you to inhale the same amount of air as diaphragmatic breathing, and it does not involve as many different muscle groups. As a result, the body receives less oxygen than it needs, and it is oxygen, when combined with carbon contained in fat cells, contributes to their speedy burning. That is why correct and natural diaphragmatic breathing promotes weight loss. But the problem is that his skill has been lost since childhood, so it will take regular simple exercises to regain it.

To speed up the process of losing weight, breathing exercises can be done several times during the day.

There are many breathing techniques based on diaphragm contraction, many of which are combined with physical activity and gymnastics to increase efficiency. They are not difficult, and even pregnant women can perform them. Start with a simple set of breathing exercises, which should be performed regularly at the same time convenient for you – in the morning, after sleep, or in the evening, before it. Begin all exercises 5 times, then their number should be gradually increased.

If you do the exercises correctly, a slight dizziness should appear: an unusually large amount of oxygen enters the brain.

Stand up straight, place your right hand with your palm on your stomach in the diaphragm area, inhale slowly through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth. Engage your stomach as you inhale and exhale, not your chest.

While standing straight, inhale slowly through the nose, then take two additional short, energetic inhales through the nose and exhale sharply again through the nose, dividing the exhalation in half.

Take a break, breathing normally. Take three breaths through the nose, exhaling through the mouth, and complement the inhalation three times with a sharp pre-inhale, and exhale with a deep pre-exhale. Again, repeat the whole complex, the duration of one lesson should be 1520 minutes.
