Addiction is quite a difficult thing. On the packaging of tobacco products we will always find warning slogans that warn against the disastrous effects of smoking. Unfortunately, they do not always have any effect on a person – the habit of relaxing in the company of a cigarette wins.

In accordance with the principle “everything is for people”, we often ignore concerns about the effects of tobacco addiction. However, if we are struggling with the problem of reduced potency and we want to solve the problem, we should definitely give up this addiction. Smoking affects not only the heart, eyesight and skin, but also the sexual performance of men and women.

Orgasm? Poor chances

Cigarettes cause problems with achieving sexual satisfaction in representatives of both sexes. This is due to the reduced blood supply to the genitals. As a result, men addicted to tobacco more often complain about difficulties in maintaining an erection, and in women, the problem with the blood supply to the intimate parts may prevent them from achieving orgasm.

Numerous studies show that cigarettes are the enemy of an erection. As many as 65% of smokers aged 85 to XNUMX complain of erection problems. Their libido also decreases. According to statistics, as many as XNUMX% of people struggling with a reduced desire for sex are addicts. Low libido is the result of the toxins contained in cigarettes, which reduce the secretion of testosterone and growth hormone.

Smoking and impotence

Addiction to smoking unfortunately has more disadvantages. And much more serious than the lack of satisfaction with sex life – even smokers who do not complain about erection problems are at risk of ejaculation disorders. Nicotine can cause impotence because it has a strong effect on the human nervous system. This causes vasoconstriction, which at the same time makes it difficult for blood to flow to the penis. In addition, the substances contained in nicotine contribute to the damage of the veins, and more precisely: their valves, which play a significant role because they stop the blood in the penis.

Are you planning to enlarge your family? Try to break the addiction

This is certainly not the best news for smokers. However, the only right way to get rid of potency problems with cigarette addiction is to try to break the habit. In addition to the “mechanical” difficulties caused by nicotine, there are also more complex ones related to the quality of semen itself.

The World Health Organization warns that addicts have significantly lower semen volume compared to non-smokers. In addition, there is also a lower number of viable and properly moving sperm in their semen. This means that the quality of semen in men who smoke is worse, which makes fertilization much more difficult.
