PSYchology

If, on the advice of the author of this book, we took it on a plane and “forgotten it in the pocket of the seat in front of us”, we would certainly make the passenger of the next flight happy.

If, on the advice of the author of this book, we took it on a plane and “forgotten it in the pocket of the seat in front of us”, we would certainly make the passenger of the next flight happy. Only this will not happen for two reasons: firstly, the book is so fascinating that it is impossible to part with it, and secondly, it is a very weighty volume, where, in addition to funny stories with subtle psychological sketches (not without reason, Andrei Bilzho’s first profession is a psychiatrist) and many funny caricatures (without them, not a single book by the creator of the famous image of Petrovich is inconceivable). The book is divided into chapters (37 voyages with comments and drawings by the author): “Cod, board, melancholy”, “Cognac Hero City”, “We are here for furniture”, “See Paris and not die”. Stories connected in one way or another with the author’s air travel (sometimes simply by the fact that he wrote them down in his notebook while sitting on the plane) are «about what he saw, what he understood and did not understand.» In fact, this is a generous scattering of funny cases, adventures, original and accurate observations and serious discoveries. This book is pure joy, and the ability to deliver it is a special gift of the wonderful artist, writer and traveler Andrei Bilzho.
