The 49-year-old woman believes that it was this plant that helped her lose those extra pounds.
Kerry’s story is similar to millions of similar stories from women around the world. At first everything was normal, then – pregnancy, childbirth, another one, and now it is already scary to get on the scales. The second child was born when Kerry was 30 years old. And the young woman waved her hand at herself: from time to time she tried to go on a diet, but she quickly broke down and ate everything that was thrown back. And now, 15 years after the last birth, Kerry already weighed 91 kilograms. Too much, whatever one may say.
Kerry had two ways out: to leave everything as it is and join the ranks of the plus-size, or to take on himself seriously. The woman thought and decided that she needed to lose weight – if not for beauty, but for health. Due to her excess weight, she was already tormented by arrhythmias, and shortness of breath was haunted.
So, I had to go on a diet. But the classic diets of Kerry losing weight were not suitable: because of a sensitive stomach, she could not eat raw vegetables, so fresh salads disappeared. And she decided to include regular mint in her diet, remembering that once this fragrant herb helped her cope with capricious digestion.
Mint activates metabolic processes, helps to remove toxins from the body, contributing to weight loss.
It is a powerful antioxidant that stimulates the secretion of digestive enzymes: the body is more efficient at absorbing nutrients from food.
Peppermint reduces bloating and helps relieve upset stomach and intestinal inflammation.
Since then, mint has become the staple of Kerry’s diet. At least three times a day, she added it to salads and drinks.
“Stomach problems very quickly became a thing of the past. In addition, I directly physically felt how my metabolism was accelerating, ”the woman says.
Kerry was right about metabolism: mint really helps the body fight excess fat and cope with inflammation, including in the digestive tract.
So, the bloating problem was solved – Kerry suddenly had a waist. Inspired by her success, the woman put the app with healthy recipes and free workouts on her phone and began to clean herself up with even more enthusiasm.
“I train five to six times a week. Not in the gym – on the bedroom rug. It may look funny, but effective. Sometimes children join me. I do not miss workouts even on vacation – exercises are easy to do in a hotel room, or anywhere else, ”says Kerry.
For two years of such a “mint” life, Kerry dropped 17 kilograms. At 49 years old, she weighs 70 kilograms, looks fresh and fit, and feels much better than two years ago.
“I even forgot about my arrhythmia. Since I started eating the mint, it has taken off like a hand, – laughs Kerry. – You know, it’s never too late to take on yourself. It’s never too late”.
