9 Reasons Why SMA Beko Warranty Repairs Can Be Denied

Buying Turkish washing machines, our consumers save a lot. Washers from Turkey are much cheaper than their German counterparts, but inferior to them in quality. In order for your washer to be serviced in accordance with the warranty, provide the following documents to the warranty workshop:

  • Completed warranty card.
  • SMA collection check.

Not all people carefully store documents. If you threw out or lost the “documents” for the washing machine, then service centers must accept the goods for repair by the date of issue – they count 2 years from the date of production. But in reality this is not practiced – workshops require warranty documents.

Customer Service

About two hundred authorized service centers (ASCs) have been opened in Russia. For warranty issues, each consumer can call directly to the official service center of BEKO. The hotline is open daily. On any day of the week, you can call from 7 am to 9 pm, and on weekends – from 8 am to 21 pm (Moscow time).

What is not covered by the warranty?

Before turning on the SMA, read the rules for its operation. How to turn it on, turn it off, pause it, etc. Not all people carefully store documents. If you have thrown out or lost the “documents” for the washing machine, you will probably have difficulties when contacting warranty workshops. Service centers, in theory, should accept goods for repair by the date of issue – counting 2 years from the date of production. But in reality this is not practiced – workshops require warranty documents. Keep your receipt and ticket. Service centers may refuse to service under warranty if at least one entry is missing in the coupon:

  • Date of sale;
  • stamp of the seller;
  • signatures of the seller;
  • model and serial number.

It is also not allowed to make corrections to the text of the document.

Breakdowns and damages are not covered by the warranty if they are caused by:

  • Improper transport, storage, installation or connection.
  • Violation of operating rules.
  • Voltage fluctuations in the mains. Non-compliance of power supply parameters with norms.
  • Non-compliance of water pressure with norms – high, low, unstable.
  • Insects or debris getting inside the device, violation of sanitation standards in the room where the CMA operates.
  • Mechanical damage and defects caused by chemicals.
  • Use of low-quality detergents – with excessive foaming or expired.
  • Detergent overdose.
  • Misuse of SMA.

Remember, if your washing machine is under warranty, you only need to contact the ASC. If you entrust the repair to a third-party workshop or an individual, you will lose the right to warranty service.

The manufacturer, in order to avoid problems at the initial stage, strongly recommends that you trust the installation of Beko washing machines to the masters from the ASC. In extreme cases, contact a company that has a certificate for the provision of services for the installation of AGR.
