For some reason, it is unfairly believed that when frozen, foods lose all their vitamins and there is no benefit at all from vegetables and fruits stored in this way.
In fact, there are many products that freezing does not make it worse, and in the off-season they only please with their availability or save time in the kitchen.
1. Fresh berries
Summer abundance of berries just asks in the freezer, and in winter any berry dessert and just diversify the preparation of cereals will come in handy. Just arrange the berries in vacuum bags in an even layer. Berries perfectly retain their vitamins and valuable properties.
2. Fresh greens
Wash the greens and be sure to dry them first, chop finely and put them in an even layer on a board, send them to the freezer. Pack the frozen greens in bags. You can freeze finely chopped greens by pouring water in ice cubes. In any case, greens, like berries, will retain their vitamins.

Butter only benefits from freezing – it acquires new ones to its useful properties. For example, it is rubbed with beautiful swirling shavings and it is much easier to knead shortbread dough on it. You can store oil in the factory label, wrapped in a bag or foil.
5. Egg yolks and whites
Yolks and whites can be stored by pouring them into ice cube trays, separating one from the other. Before use, they should be thawed at room temperature and boldly added to the dough or cook an omelet.
6. Whipped cream
If you have a small amount of whipped cream left after cooking, you can freeze it. This should be done in portions – on a silicone mat, put small flat circles with a teaspoon and freeze, and then put them in a bag. This cream can be used later for coffee and other hot drinks.
7. Grated cheese
Nothing complicated – just grate the cheese on a coarse grater and divide it into bags in portions. Making pizzas and pies is made much easier by simply sprinkling frozen cheese on a hot dish.
8. Boiled rice
If you freeze the boiled rice remaining after cooking, then you can serve it to the table only by heating it in the microwave or in a pan, and also use it for casseroles or cheesecakes. Just do not freeze the rice in a lump, spread it evenly, freeze it, and then carefully transfer it to a container or vacuum bag.
9. Wine
Leftover wine frozen in ice cube trays can serve as an addition to sauces or become the basis for marinades for meat and fish. Sparkling wine can be added to cool cocktails.
