One evening, the boy really, really wanted a cheeseburger. Parents were already asleep by that time. The boy decided that he didn’t want to bother the tired mom and dad, so he slowly pulled off the keys, took his four-year-old sister by the hand and went to the garage. I got into my car and drove safely a mile and a half to the nearest McDonald’s.
According to witnesses, the boy drove the car quite confidently. I looked at the traffic lights, did not forget to turn on the turn signals, and managed to park normally. To say that the cafe staff was shocked to see such a couple in the car is to say nothing. At first they even decided that it was some kind of joke. Then it became clear: no, not a joke.
The police arrived at the cafe when the kids were finishing their cheeseburgers.
