8 tips to induce childbirth naturally
Are you ready to welcome your baby but it is slow to point the tip of its nose? To help Mother Nature speed up the meeting, some tips can help trigger childbirth.
Get active!
To induce labor and speed up the baby’s descent, method number 1: stir ! Get out of bed, drop the sets, and start activating.
Do you want to do activities that you limited yourself to doing for months for fear of triggering the birth? Now is the time to break these old prohibitions and get some exercise! A promenade in the countryside, on foot or by bike, go swimming, do window shopping in town for hours… obstacles fall and you can be freer to move around without fear of an early birth. Just being on your feet will push your baby onto the womb.
Another tip: instead of taking the elevator, go up and down the stairs several times a day, this will increase the pressure on the cervix.
You can finally use a maternity balloon. Bounce several times on the ball, this will promote the descent of the baby.
Do housework
Before the arrival of the newborn, a big cleaning may be welcome. Although you may be embarrassed by your stomach, lhousework will help dilate the cervix.
So put on your gloves and clean your windows, The bathroom, vacuum and, like Cinderella, wash the floor on all fours.
Finally, take the opportunity to sort through your things. Get rid of what you no longer use to free up space in the baby’s closet.
Have sex
If the urge is there, now is not the time to deprive yourself: the “Italian method” naturally triggers childbirth!
Indeed, semen contains prostaglandins which soften the cervix and prepare for its dilation.
And if, in addition, you have an orgasm, it’s a double! This will cause thea secretion of oxytocin, the hormone responsible for contractions and childbirth.
Stimulate your breasts
Nipple stimulation also helps release oxytocin and increase uterine activity.
Several methods to imitate the baby’s sucking are thus recommended: massage your breasts around the areola, roll the milkn, or more radical still, use a breast pump. Repeat this several times a day.
Drive a car
Just like sports activity, driving increases the pressure on the cervix, and thus promotes the onset of childbirth. And the more bumps, the better!
So choose your route wisely. Choose a circuit filled with speed bumps, speed bumps, potholes … without straying too far from the maternity ward!
Drink the infusion
Raspberry leaves have a stimulating effect on the uterus which will relax it. You can consume them as an infusion (three cups a day) or as tablets.
