7 white wines for September

Terri blan

First of all, you should pay attention to the French wine from the variety terri blangrowing in the south of France. Terry blanc is easy to drink on its own and can be a real gem on a warm September evening. Citrus notes make the wine taste bright and rich, and the lemon aftertaste will give an invigorating and refreshing effect.

The advantage of this wine is that it is also gastronomic – terry blanc goes well with white anchovies and olives.

Muscadel

Another interesting solution for lunch on a warm Indian summer day will be wine from the variety muscadeloften used in sauternes and other dessert wines. Its exquisite taste with floral notes, according to the manufacturers, ideal for oysters and lobsters… From ourselves, we can only add that it will be combined quite well with “simpler” seafood.

Languedoc

Yours will be adorned in the fall, and arrived from the southern coast of France Languedoc… A relatively inexpensive wine made from a mixture of several grape varieties is definitely not suitable in order to just wash it down with food at hectic parties (although it is extremely gastronomic – suitable for salty fish dishes and goat cheese). Its tropical fruit notes, spices and long aftertaste must be deliberately enjoyed.

Pinot Grigio

Shouldn’t be thrown away in the heat pinot grigio… The Slovenian harvest of this variety in 2017 will give you a lot of pleasure this September. Its smoky flavor and oak notes will brighten up any party. The wine will appeal to everyone – both lovers of bright taste and those who are looking for freshness in the drink – apple tones of taste are perfectly combined with its richness.

Riesling

Wine from aromatic rislinga also shouldn’t be discounted this September. Gray Slate from Germany with hints of peach, lemon and pineapple, it will perfectly complement simple seafood. AND New Zealand Aged Riesling will make your dinner with pork knuckle simply unforgettable.

Whichever wine you choose from the list, remember that you can and should go beyond comfort and rules! And if you want a glass of bright and fresh white wine in mid-September on a sunny day, you should not artificially limit yourself.
