7 Things In The House That Drive You To Stress

As soon as the front door closes behind our back, we are enveloped in the atmosphere of our home space. This atmosphere should literally wash away all the stress of the day without leaving the slightest chance for stress. But what if this does not happen? We need to figure out why the house is not at all the cozy harbor it should be. We have collected 7 things that day after day imperceptibly, but inevitably drive us into stress.

An abundance of plastic

Plastic is always some kind of surrogate. A substitute for the present: furniture, dishes, accessories. You live as if in field conditions or at a train station. As if you have neither the time nor the desire to equip your home. Of course, it will answer you with dislike. All parts made from artificial materials can be attributed to the same category: textiles, furniture. They are far from always pleasant to the touch, not always pleasant to the body, can cause irritation and allergies, and are often even poisonous.

Our advice: replace fabrics with natural ones, get rid of temporary things and get permanent ones.

Many small details

Souvenirs, toys, some little things that did not have a place in the drawers – all this madly distracts, scatters attention and makes you tense. Little things, placed in plain sight, create a feeling of cramped, cluttered, the room becomes as if dusty, even if you do the cleaning regularly. In addition, the room becomes visually smaller. These are the features of human perception, there is nothing you can do about it.

Our advice: leave in sight only a couple of accessories or especially dear souvenirs. Put the rest in the drawers. Or maybe in the process you even decide to get rid of some of the little things – and this is only for the best.

Too noisy

Acoustic stimuli are just as annoying as unnecessary interior details. From outside the window you can hear obsessive loud music, car noise or the roar of a lawn mower, from behind the wall – a loud conversation, from the bathroom – the sound of dripping water, from the kitchen – the growl of the refrigerator. All this creates a constant irritating background, which imperceptibly, drop by drop, exhausts your nerves, does not allow you to properly relax and rest.

Our advice: everything that leaks and drips needs to be repaired. Not only because of the sound – because of the money too. But fighting everything else is more difficult. You can, of course, splurge on soundproofing. But it is quite costly both in terms of finance and strength.

Stuffiness

You may not notice it, but the quality of the air greatly affects the quality of life. The first sign that there is nothing to breathe in the room is constant sleepiness. Without oxygen, the brain falls asleep like a fish in a dirty aquarium. If you don’t breathe well at night, you will not get enough sleep, no matter how much you sleep. Freshness, humidity, air purity – all this matters, and all these parameters can be checked independently.

Our advice: if it is not possible to buy a humidifier or air washer, at least ventilate more often and do wet cleaning. Trust me, it’s worth it.
