Minimalism is still on the rise, but white walls will no longer be so popular.
As the designers note, there are three main trends in the world of kitchen fashion: minimalism, the combination of living room and kitchen, the choice of smart and environmentally friendly technology. That is, lightweight structures, a minimum of decor, elegant fittings, smooth surfaces, neutral colors. But some of the details may well surprise you.
Total black
Strange, but black is number one in the kitchen of the future. White walls and surfaces are no longer in trend, designers are tired of them. Secondary colors are blue, yellow, red, orange, shades of green and turquoise. However, it is also not worth giving up completely from white. Monochrome will also look very stylish, as well as a combination of two colors: for example, one for the upper cabinets, the other for the lower ones. In addition, the style has shades of gray, soft, muted and pastel tones. Against their background, black will look especially advantageous.
Matt surfaces
No gloss on the facades, this is a thing of the past. Now matte textures are at the height of fashion, which can be diluted with metallic accents. In addition, the surfaces should be pleasant to the touch. After all, the design is designed to please not only the eye, but also the touch. Therefore, handmade products will be in fashion – due to their uniqueness.
Another trend is the rejection of door handles. Cabinets and drawers must be opened by pressing. This is also required by minimalism.
Metal

Designers predict that the trend for metallic finishes will not go anywhere in the near future. These can be lampshades, handles on doors and stove, vases and other accessories. Unobtrusive accents will enrich the interior with bright new effects, making it look more expensive.

Oddly enough, but this is related to the environment. Smart home appliances allow you to save electricity, which means to preserve nature and reduce the daily harmful human impact on the environment. The trend is multifunctional gadgets that take up relatively little space and can cope with several tasks at once.

These are not just flowers in pots, but a green decor that can be integrated into the interior as harmoniously as possible. Modern kitchen furniture manufacturers even make cabinets with shelving for mini greenhouses and shelves for vertical gardens with edible greenery. And, of course, flowers are the easiest way to decorate any interior.
Blending textures
Wood and concrete, metal and stone, glass and plastic coexist in a modern kitchen. In addition, designers combine different textures and colors of the same material, placing shiny and matte surfaces next to each other. Such combinations look elegant and stylish, in contrast to the same type of finish: it gives the impression that you tried too hard, but now the trend is natural and a little chaos.
