Or you are new to cooking, but you really want to treat yourself to something delicious and definitely homemade. Or simply there is no desire to cook… Situations may be different, but the solution is always the same-recipes for interesting dishes made from two ingredients. Incredibly, such dishes actually exist, and it’s not just an omelet or tortillas on water and flour. Today you will learn how to cook such delicacies!
Chocolate tenderness
It’s hard to believe, but a chocolate cupcake can be baked only from eggs and chocolate, however, you will have to tinker with the eggs a little. Melt 100 ml of milk chocolate in a water bath, and while it melts, carefully separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the whites with a mixer until a thick and fluffy foam. Add the yolks to the cooled chocolate and rub well until smooth. Carefully mix the chocolate mixture with the proteins and put the “dough” in a greased form. Bake the sponge cake for half an hour at a temperature of 180 °C. It turns out tender, moist and fantastically delicious, especially if you serve it with vanilla ice cream or garnish with whipped cream. Also, such a cupcake can be prepared directly in a mug, putting it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes at maximum power. Fantasize!
Cheese delight
Cheese paste turns out to be unusual and pleasant to the taste, and most importantly, it is easy to prepare. To do this, you will need a glass of mozzarella for pizza — it is sold in the form of ready-made chips in bags. Melt the cheese for 1 minute in the microwave and mix it with the egg. Mix the mass well until it becomes viscous and homogeneous.
Put the cheese and egg mixture on baking paper, greased with butter, and put it on the table. Cover the top with another sheet of oiled paper and, pressing, form the base for the paste in the form of a thin rectangular layer. Remove the top paper sheet and cut the layer with a sharp knife into pasta of the desired width. Throw them into boiling water and cook until tender-about 5 minutes. Serve with any pasta sauce and fresh herbs.
Strawberry ice
Granita is a Sicilian dessert made of strawberries and sweet crushed ice with a fruit or berry flavor. It resembles sherbet, sweet, loose and very useful!
To prepare granita, you will definitely have enough two ingredients — garden strawberries and honey. This is quite enough for the famous Sicilian delicacy.
Cut 500 g of berries in half and remove the tails. Place the fruits on a tray or cutting board and freeze. Place the frozen strawberries in a blender, pour 80-100 ml of liquid honey into it and whisk until completely crushed. The berries should turn into a puree.
Put them in a mold or container and put them back in the freezer for about 3 hours. As soon as the dessert is frozen, scoop it up with a round ice cream spoon and put the balls on a dish.
Crisp mood
If you are in the mood to crunch a little, prepare sesame or coconut cookies. These desserts are prepared in a similar way — with eggs. Mix 80 g of coconut chips, 1 egg and 1-2 tablespoons of sugar or honey. Coconut chips can be replaced with 100 g of white sesame. From the coconut mass, form balls, and from sesame-tortillas. Place the cookies on oiled parchment and put them in the oven for 10 minutes, preheated to 180 °C. The treats should be slightly browned.
You can make unsweetened cookies if you add a pinch of salt and some spices to taste instead of sugar. As usual, there is a huge field for culinary fantasies in front of you!
The dessert does not contain flour and butter, so it is ideal for a diet.
Plum explosion
This delicate airy dessert should be prepared only from very sweet and ripe plums, then you do not even have to add sugar.
Wash 0.5 kg of plums, remove the seeds from them and turn the fruits into mashed potatoes with a blender. Add 10 g of gelatin to the plum mass and wait for it to swell. It will take you about 10 minutes to do this. Heat the plum puree a little so that the gelatin dissolves, but do not bring it to a boil in any case.
And now the most interesting thing begins. Beat the puree again with a blender for 20 minutes, until it becomes light and airy. Its volume will increase several times.
Put the plastic wrap in the mold and pour the puree, and then send it to the refrigerator until it completely solidifies.
Then put the mold in hot water for a few seconds, and the souffle will easily separate from the bottom and walls.
Garnish the dessert with mint, nuts or chocolate chips. Treat your friends and family to a plum miracle, and this dish will become their favorite!
Banana instead of bread
Excellent banana crackers with oat flakes can be prepared in 20 minutes. Mash 1 ripe banana and add a handful of oat flakes to it. The amount of oatmeal depends on the size and softness of the banana. Estimate by eye how many flakes you will need.
Mix the banana mixture well and put it on a greased baking sheet with a tablespoon. Bake for 20 minutes at 170 °C. Oat crackers can be served instead of bread with salads and hot dishes. Crunchy cookies are also prepared with flaxseeds, adding your favorite spices to them. And if you mix a banana with an egg and send the “dough” to the oven in small molds, you will get delicious muffins. It’s perfect for a diet!
Creamy madness
This is actually a completely crazy baking recipe, in which there is nothing but cream and self-raising flour. Yes, that’s what it’s called – “self-raising wheat baking flour”. Its secret is simple — the flour is enriched with baking powder.
So, sift 300 g of flour and gradually pour 300-350 ml of heavy cream into it. The fatter, the better. Perhaps you will need a little more or less liquid, watch the consistency of the dough. It should be soft enough and not stick to your hands. Do not use a mixer, so that the dough does not turn out too tight.
Roll out a layer 1 cm thick, cut out round buns and put them on a baking sheet covered with oiled parchment. Leave a small distance between the products so that the buns do not stick together, because they will rise in the oven. Bake for 10 minutes at a temperature of 250 °C or a little more. They should become golden and fragrant.
Buns can be eaten with jam, honey, butter and sugar. This is a great base for morning sandwiches!
