6 petal diet: video reviews

The Six Day Diet, developed by Swedish nutritionist Anna Johansson, has helped thousands of women around the world gain shape. Thanks to the “flower” method, even those who were not helped by other dietary regimens and who could not withstand the hardships of strict food restrictions get good results after 6 days with the 6-petal diet. With the diet of Anna Johansson, women easily part from 0,5 to 0,8 kg within one day, which is why she finds more and more fans.

How the 6-petal diet works

The diet lasts 6 days, during which 6 mono-diets must be observed, following one after the other in a strict order:

  • fish
  • vegetable
  • chicken
  • cereal
  • cottage cheese
  • fruit

Essentially, the 1st day is a protein diet, the 2nd day is carbohydrate, the 3rd is protein, the 4th is carbohydrate, the 5th is protein, and the 6th is again carbohydrate. Protein-carbohydrate alternation is a kind of deception of the body, in which it begins to feverishly consume fat reserves, along with this, not to feel carbohydrate starvation.

Anna Johansson states that a protein-carbohydrate dietary change regimen provides 50% of diet success. Just alternation, i.e. no superhuman efforts and stress, and half the success is in your pocket

In general, any mono-diet is essentially a sample of separate nutrition. When using a product prescribed in a particular day (petal) of the diet, a person naturally avoids mixing elements that are not compatible with each other. What does it mean? “Competing” substances noticeably slow down the rate of digestion, resulting in the formation of proteins, fats or carbohydrates, which, not having time to be completely digested, are converted into fat. This diet excludes the simultaneous use of incompatible foods, which means it prevents the possibility of additional weight gain.

The developer of the diet also claims that the daily mono-diet provokes rapid weight loss due to the monotonous menu every day.

This is due to some of the features of the digestive system, in particular, the liver – the storage (a kind of refrigerator) of the whole organism. It is she who stores and keeps “in reserve” a reserve – all kinds of substances that for the time being are not needed by the body. What Happens During The 24 Hour Mono Diet?

Organism, incl. the liver, in the morning, is saturated with a certain product (for example, chicken meat) and digests it, almost without using its energy value, because waiting for the next “new” product to arrive. And he does not enter. But for normal functioning, the body needs a source of energy. And then, fortunately for a losing weight person, the liver orders to use fat reserves as this source. And already from the middle of the day of the mono-diet, the body, receiving nothing but a certain product, begins to consume subcutaneous fat.

Thus, even in 24 hours of such a diet, so much fat is burned that a person loses from 500 to 800 g of weight.

The fat component of the diet of Anna Johansson’s diet is represented by extremely healthy mono- and polyunsaturated fats, which are rich in cottage cheese, fish, chicken meat. They belong to the category of dietary ones, they are completely and easily absorbed by the body and do not replenish the supply of consumed fats, but are present in the diet solely for the purpose of balancing the diet.

Sixth day. Fruit mono diet. You can eat any fruit raw or baked, using lemon zest, vanillin, cinnamon and other spices for taste, except for hot ones. Sugar-free fruit juices are allowed.

Recommendations for the number of products for each mono-diet: fish – 300-500 g of the finished product; vegetables – 1-1,5 kg; chicken fillet – 500 g; porridge – 200 g of dry cereals, other permitted products – 200 g; cottage cheese – 500 g; fruit -1-1,5 kg

The diet is called “6 petals” for a reason. Its developer Anna Johansson recommends that those who decide to get rid of extra pounds with this “petal” diet, make a flower. A circle and oblong shapes – petals should be cut out of paper or thick cardboard. Connect all the details to form a flower with six petals. On each, write the name of a certain mono-diet (fish, vegetable, chicken, etc.), hang it in a conspicuous place – on the refrigerator, in the bathroom, in front of the TV and tear off a petal every evening. So the difficult and boring process of losing weight will turn into an exciting game, and in fact – into a joyful and easy diet, in which the onset of a new day will bring with it a feeling of satisfaction and deep self-respect. According to the reviews of those who have experienced this diet on themselves, this is exactly what happens in reality.
