BytTechService » News ” 34% of Russians dream of a robot vacuum cleaner: funny statistics
In October, an interesting survey was conducted on the Hi-Tech Mail.ru portal, in which 5000 respondents took part. The Russians were asked to name which household appliances they use most often, and which ones in their home are simply useless.
So, the multicooker took first place in the rating of “Useless Equipment”. 18% of respondents reported that they regret spending money on this “miracle pot”. In addition, Russians practically do not use such devices as a bread machine, steam generator, or steamer. It is noteworthy that a robot vacuum cleaner turned out to be a desirable technique among Russians. Although in the ranking of useless household appliances, it is at the top of the table. Apparently, until you yourself are convinced of the uselessness of the device, you will not stop dreaming about buying it.
The survey revealed that, in addition to irreplaceable and necessary household appliances, such as washing machines, irons and vacuum cleaners, Russian homes most often have microwaves, blenders, multicookers, meat grinders, and electric heaters. Less common are coffee machines, food processors, dishwashers.
34% of all respondents would like to see a robot vacuum cleaner in their home, 28% a dishwasher, 23% a coffee maker, 20% an air humidifier (purifier), 14% a dryer.
The survey also showed that before buying equipment, 78% of buyers pay attention to its functionality, 70% – to the cost of goods, 60% – to the brand. For almost half of the respondents (49%), positive reviews about appliances on the Internet are the decisive factor before buying. And only 16% choose household appliances based on the recommendations of acquaintances and friends.
Experts recommend that all users do not buy equipment just because it is new. Look more rationally at the purchase of this or that device: do you really need it so much in everyday life or can you safely do without it. And then you definitely will not have to regret the money spent on the purchased multicooker.
