5 types of foods you shouldn’t eat at night
1. Tea and coffee
Of course, they are the first on the list, because they strongly tone up. You simply will not be able to fall asleep and will endlessly “count the sheep”. Among other things, drinking these drinks at night is harmful to blood pressure and the vascular system. I will also add that in this way you disrupt your biorhythms, which subsequently leads to disruptions in metabolism. And this, in turn, can lead to an increase in body weight, a deterioration in the psychological state, depression and disturbed sleep patterns.
2. Fruits, vegetables and legumes
They can cause the fermentation process, and this disrupts digestion and interferes with sleep. There may be bouts of flatulence.
3. Dairy products
As dangerous as fruits. If bloating appears, you need to take any sorbent to neutralize the effect of toxins, and probiotics – they contain bacteria that normalize the intestinal microflora. If discomfort occurs frequently, see a gastroenterologist.
4. Energy drinks
They can also negatively affect your sleep. In principle, it is best to give up alcohol and energy drinks, as the liver, our main filter that helps the body to cleanse itself of toxins, begins to function less well. Hypothesis appears, the stomach suffers from high acidity, which provokes gastritis. The pancreas also breaks down and pancreatitis may begin. In order to consume energy drinks, you need to be a very healthy person and at least undergo a complete diagnosis of the body annually:
gastroscopy and colonoscopy. They are now easily performed under sedation (not to be confused with general anesthesia) and the patient does not feel any discomfort.
