5 things to do in the evening

If you repeat them regularly, day after day, life will surely become much more beautiful.

1. Disconnect from work

Choose for yourself the time until which you allow yourself to be loaded with work assignments, no matter how many and how important they are. Let it be 7, 8, 9 pm – it’s up to you, but there should still be a limit. After all, if you take on the work and do it in the evening overtime, then the bosses can regard this as something that you can continue to hang on to you as many tasks as you like, ad infinitum. You yourself have chosen not to live, but only to work.

But if you, after such a shock evening, come to the office in the morning unfreshed, sleepy, tired and angry, no one will appreciate it. Therefore, strictly at a certain evening hour, stop checking your mail and phone if it concerns work assignments. Close all tasks and calmly go to rest.

2. Answer all relatives and friends

But for family and friends, the evening is a good time to turn on and take time for them. Visit your parents or friends. Respond to all messages and comments on all social networks, it would be wrong and unproductive to spend time on this during the working day. And distracting your comrades with messages and likes during work is just as wrong as distracting yourself. And at night it is too late to do it: everyone is asleep.

3. Save money

In the evening, it’s time to walk through supermarkets and other retail outlets, as well as cafes selling salads and other ready-to-go dishes. Why? Because many of them are already closing, which means they can release the goods at a significant discount, if not donate at all. At the same time, the quality of food will be the same if you buy it at full price a little earlier in the day. The main thing is not to store the dish even longer, but to eat it on time.

4. Plan your day and get ready for tomorrow

It is better to plan the day not in the morning, but in the evening the night before, because by scheduling the tasks, you will already understand how much time it will take to complete them. And this means, you will know for sure whether you can sleep an extra hour and do everything at a calm pace, or, on the contrary, you need to get up two hours early and do everything as quickly as possible, even sacrificing exercise.

It is better to pack your things for the coming day, because only in the evening, as experience shows, no matter how tired you are, you will do it calmly, without nerves and fuss. And in the morning, no matter how cheerful you are, you will be in a hurry, risking overlooking something.

5. Eat kiwi and drink cherry juice

A study by Taiwanese scientists has proven that eating kiwi an hour before bedtime for a month will help you fall asleep faster and get better sleep. This is because vitamins C and E in this fruit regulate the neural connections in the brain that are responsible for healthy sleep cycles and stimulate the production of serotonin. And a study at Louisiana State University, meanwhile, showed that a glass of cherry juice, drunk in the late afternoon, increases sleep productivity by almost 90 minutes. This is because the red pigments in this berry reduce the rate at which tryptophan breaks down, allowing it to work longer in your body. That’s all, there are no more obligatory things for the evening, you can fall asleep!
