Sweets

There is nothing worse. It’s enough that they are full of sugar, which, in addition to obesity, causes a number of diseases, and in the case of ready-made ingredients, the whole list of leavening agents, dyes and flavors is bowing. Simple sugar, which is contained in sweets, quickly gets into the bloodstream and raises the level of glucose. In response, insulin levels rise sharply, leading to an equally sudden drop in glucose levels. Frequent fluctuations in blood sugar can lead to glucose intolerance and diabetes. You also feel hungry more often and therefore eat moreid = »h20 ″>. People who cannot resist sweets often complain of constipation problems and deterioration of the skin condition. In ready-made sweets, sugar is accompanied by the recently popular glucose-fructose syrup, which is suspected of contributing to the increase in the number of obese people in the world and the risk of diabetes and gout. Sugar and syrup are not all that we should be afraid of in cookies. They contain saturated fatty acids, which increase the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, e.g. atherosclerosis.

Nut creams

In the article exposing Nutellaid = »h20 ″> I called it fat-sugar pulp. In addition to sugar, which is the undisputed culprit behind obesity, diabetes, tooth decay and cancer, nut creams contain lousy palm oil – it’s cheap and easy to use, so it’s often used. Scares 45 percent the share of saturated fatty acids that destroy the cardiovascular system. During refining, palm oil is devoid of most valuable compounds such as vitamin A and vitamin E. Most often, nut creams contain only minimal amounts of nuts and cocoa. Their calorific value is staggering. For example 100g of the aforementioned Nutella has 544 kcal and 57 percent. sugar.id = »h20 ″> Believe me, this is not the worst product in this group.

There are preserves that theoretically do not have to contain sugar – for example, jam, and choose such. Low-sugar, medium-quality fruit preserves have little healthiness. Our role is to choose a product with as little sugar as possible, preferably sweetened with concentrated fruit juices or, as a last resort, with fructose, with the highest possible share of fruit and no artificial additives. If you have time, prepare the preserves yourself. You will then be sure that you know what you are eating.

Fatty meats and cold cuts

In addition to fatty meats and cold cuts, it is also worth excluding all fried and soaked dishes in fat. It is best not to eat any meat that shows fat. why? Reducing animal fat and cholesterol-rich foods is one of the most important conditions for preventing obesity and cardiovascular disease. Sweetened carbonated drinks

Yesterday I wrote about sweet carbonated drinks on the example of Coca – Cola, Fanta and Spriteid = »h20 ″>. These types of products are a mixture of sugar – which is second only to water in the composition and, most often, artificial additives. Studies have shown that people who consume sweetened drinks every day have a greater risk of obesity and diseases such as diabetes and cancer. It will be more beneficial for the figure and health to replace them with vegetable and fruit juices as well as water with fruit.

It is very difficult to get used to so many products, especially if they used to be commonplace until now. Probably each of us has one delicacy that we would not like to give up. In that case, prepare yourself a healthy alternative, but throw away the ready-made dishes and the dishes full of fat and sugar for your own good! If you like cakes, make them yourself in oil, with honey and fruit. Do you love kebabs? Don’t buy them in a stall behind the supermarket, just make them out of wholemeal bread rolls, your favorite lean meat, yoghurt-based sauce and vegetables.
