5 products dangerous for beauty

We are what we eat. This is the undeniable truth. And it seems that everyone already knows what is harmful and what is useful, but they still include products in the diet, the use of which negatively affects the appearance.

Even if you eat right and are happy with your weight, there may still be foods in your diet that provoke micro-inflammation and skin aging. Here is a list of the most dangerous of them, compiled according to the latest research by American scientists.

1. Fatty food

Excessive consumption of fatty foods provokes inflammatory processes in the body. It is because of an unbalanced diet that skin problems can occur – rashes appear on the body and face. Fats found in baked goods and fast food clog arteries, leading to premature aging of the skin. She just loses elasticity.

However, you should not completely abandon fats. For example, olive and coconut oil contain essential vitamin E. It stabilizes cells, helping the skin to maintain youthfulness and elasticity.

2. Bread

Bread, which is sold in ordinary stores, is made from rye or wheat flour, but this flour is refined – it is devoid of the original value that is inherent in nature. During the production of flour, fiber (a storehouse of vitamins and minerals) is ground into dust.

Purified flour slagging the body. Flour, like glue, envelops food and prevents it from breaking down. As a result, you do not get enough nutrients and vitamins, and the feeling of hunger appears within a couple of hours after eating.

At the same time, yeast bread does the most harm, since yeast provokes the formation of mucus, which destroys collagen fibers. As a result, the skin loses elasticity and becomes flabby.

3. Salt

Historically, salt has been one of the most beloved spices. But its excessive consumption harms the body. On average, a person who does not have health problems can consume about 25 g of salt per day. When this norm is exceeded, the residues accumulate in the body. Now imagine that this process continues for years.

Salt retains water, the balance between potassium and sodium in the body is disturbed, and the person begins to suffer from edema. If you notice ugly bags under your eyes, it means that your salt intake urgently needs to be reduced.

4. Sugar

Carbohydrates destroy collagen, which is why wrinkles appear on the face, and the oval of the face sags and becomes fuzzy. Also, when collagen protein breaks down, pore enlargement occurs. As a result, the surface of the skin loses its smoothness. Skin color becomes greyish. The face always looks tired.

According to the American Medical Association, it is recommended to consume no more than 4-6 teaspoons of sugar per day. This applies not only to the pure sugar you put in your tea or coffee, but also to the sugar you get from fruits and other foods.

5. Soda

Carbonated drinks consist of a certain amount of sugar (or sweetener) and acid. We dealt with sugar in the previous paragraph, so let’s move on to acid. It is she who kills beneficial bacteria in the intestines and destroys the microflora. This leads to inflammation, which is the first thing reflected on the face. Therefore, if your skin is prone to acne, rosacea, eczema, try to eliminate soda from your diet.

What products are useful for beauty and youthful skin?

  • Dairy products. The lactobacilli contained in them normalize the work of the intestines, the beauty of the skin depends on the health and proper functioning of which.
  • Fish and seafood. Fatty varieties – mackerel, salmon, sardines, herring and tuna – contain omega-3, which means they have anti-inflammatory properties, improve skin condition and prevent the formation of wrinkles.
  • Meat. Veal, lamb, poultry are an ideal source of complete protein, which is well absorbed, improves the general condition of the skin and is involved in recovery processes.
