Automatic broom
There is a broom, and there is a miracle of technology called “automatic broom”. This is a cross between a mop and a vacuum cleaner. Quite a cumbersome thing. Brushes are placed under the body, which begin to rotate when you press a button on the handle. No wires, the device is completely mechanical. It seems to be great. But! Firstly, such a broom is not suitable for carpets, only for linoleum or tiles. Secondly, even on linoleum, collecting all the garbage is a laborious process. Not to mention that the broom does not crawl under the furniture, and does not collect anything along the walls. So if you want automatic cleaning, use a robot vacuum cleaner.

The dust broom is only good for movies. In reality, ordinary microfiber rags are much more effective at removing dust, and the pipidaster only lifts it into the air. Such a mop will also not penetrate into hard-to-reach places.
A steam mop has a number of advantages (for example, it fights mold and mildew, does not require additional chemicals). But it also often leaves a lot of moisture on the floor, and debris adheres faster to the steamed wet surface. And the steam mop will not cope with animal hair – you have to vacuum it first.
Steam cleaner
Many people praise this thing for the opportunity not to use chemicals to clean surfaces. In addition, allergy sufferers can use this gadget. But there are also disadvantages. The steam cleaner is not suitable for all surfaces – it leaves streaks on some types of fabric, and for wooden floors you need to use additional attachments. If you take a hand-held device, then it is quite heavy, and the water container is small – you will have to collect water several times during one cleaning, wait until steam forms, and then wipe the treated surfaces dry. If you are ready to spend so much time, use it, although cleaning will be faster without the device.
Washing vacuum cleaner
A good thing, with many advantages – it removes dust and stains, purifies and humidifies the air, and even destroys mold and mildew. The disadvantages of a washing vacuum cleaner relate to its use on natural surfaces. So, on wooden parquet, some types of laminate or natural carpet after wet cleaning, an unpleasant smell appears, since the process of decay begins from the water. And if you have a carpet with a thick pile, a washing vacuum cleaner will not cope at all and will not remove dirt. Plus, after each cleaning, you need to wash the vacuum cleaner itself, and because of its size, the procedure takes 15-20 minutes.
