5 exercises to build your back
In addition to refining the silhouette, the practice of exercises to tone the back muscles promotes better posture and helps prevent pain and tension. Here are 5 basic moves that can be done at home!
Spine elongation
In order to develop good posture and activate the muscles deep in the central axis of your back, the first exercise to master is the elongation of the spine.
Basic position:
Stand with your feet parallel to shoulder width apart.
How to carry out this exercise?
Depending on the rhythm of your breathing, the movement should be smooth and effortless. Inhaling, stretch the spine, pointing the head towards the ceiling and the tailbone towards the floor. Release the tension on the exhale so that your spine returns to its original length. Once the movement is well mastered, try to maintain the position in extension for a longer time.
The lengthening of the spine can be practiced on a daily basis with 5 to 10 repetitions.
