5 coffee masks for face and body

Here are some coffee beauty recipes.

1. Scrub for face and body

It is important to use finely ground coffee. Large abrasive particles will damage the skin. You can take sleeping coffee (from a cup or coffee maker), or you can just ground it. Important: coffee should not contain any additives like sugar, cardamom, cinnamon. The scrub should not be applied to inflamed skin.

Composition: 3 tbsp. l. coffee grounds, 1 tsp. oils (grape seed, jojoba, wheat germ).

For oily skin – a few tablespoons of yogurt (without dyes and additives) / kefir.

For problem skin – cosmetic clay, milk-mineral water / herbal decoction.

For normal skin – 1,5 tablespoons of honey, 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream / yogurt / cottage cheese.

Apply this mixture to the body and face, but not to the area around the eyes. And while the mask is on the face, you can tighten the upper eyelid and remove the puffiness under the eyes using a simple technique.

2. Hair mask

Suitable for brunettes only. Blondes should not use it, as coffee tones the hair.

Composition: 2 tbsp. l. ground coffee, 2 tbsp. l. olive oil, 1-2 drops of orange or lemon essential oil.

Apply the mixture to your hair and scalp, cover with a film on top, wrap your head with a towel. Leave the mask on for 30-40 minutes, then rinse off.
