The video with Bella Devyatkina has gained over 10 million views in three days.
What can you not see on the show “Amazing People” on the TV channel “Russia 1”. Some have mathematical superpowers, some have photographic memory. And the young one is really small! – Bella Devyatkina turned out to be a polyglot. At the age of four, the girl is fluent in seven languages - Russian and six foreign.
The video from the program with her participation instantly spread across the networks – on Facebook alone, it gained more than ten million views in less than three days.
And there was something to see.
On the show, Bella chatted with six foreign native speakers. For an Englishman, she read a description of a dinosaur. Yes, a little girl in her four years and knows how to read perfectly!
Then she played a game of searching for an item according to the description with a German girl, after weighed her curtsy. And for the Spaniard, Bella sang a song and bowed, as an artist should. At this moment, the star guest of the show Olga Shelest rolled her eyes in complete amazement. However, like everyone else in the hall.
The culture shock among the audience continued to grow when the girl read a poem for the Frenchman. In his native language, of course.
And then the test got harder. Bella went to talk with a Chinese woman, and this is a completely different language group! Well, in the end, the girl answered a few questions about astronomy in Arabic.
– How? – the only question that the amazed Olga Shelest could ask. No wonder, because the girl is a real fidget. She did not stand still for a minute, constantly danced and jumped.
– Yes, from birth, we began to learn two languages at once – Russian and English, – Bella’s mother, Yulia Devyatkina, answered embarrassedly. – Then we noticed the interest, they began to add more and more languages. So we got to seven.
And Evgeny Papunaishvili, another of the guests of the program, expressed the emotions that overwhelmed most of the audience:
– Looking at Bella, I realized how dumb I am. I wish I had a little bit of her knowledge!
