4 ways to cook beets
 

Beetroot is a useful root vegetable that helps out great in the winter-spring period, when there is still an eternity before fresh vegetable salads. It is healthy and tasty, various vegetable dishes are prepared with it, added to borscht, of course, they make salads with it. How to cook beets:

Boil. Wash the beets thoroughly, preferably with the rough side of a washcloth, put them in a saucepan, cover with water and put on medium heat. Let it boil, cover the dishes with a lid, reduce the heat a little and cook for 2-2,5 hours. Finished beets can be easily pierced with a fork;

In the multivariate. If you are a lucky owner of a multicooker, then use the “Steam” mode for cooking beets. To do this, put clean beets in a special bowl, pour a glass of water and start the cooking mode. Depending on the size of the root crop, the cooking time varies from 30 to 50 minutes;

In the microwave. Place the clean beets in a glass bowl, add a little water and cover. Run the microwave on the highest power for 10 to 20 minutes. Check readiness;

 

In the oven. Wrap clean beets in foil, put on a baking sheet and bake at 200C for about 30 minutes.
