The first mistake is to use boiled water
The most suitable temperature for brewing tea is considered to be 85–90 ° – the so-called “white key”, when tiny bubbles appear in the lower layers of water at the bottom of the kettle, which, together with hot water, rise up and mix with the upper, colder layers of water.
At the same time, the kettle makes a loud noise – “sings”. It is at this moment that you can “take” it.
The second mistake is to re-brew the tea leaves.
Fresh tea in the East is called medicine, old tea is called poison, and rightly so. But whether from laziness, then in order to save money, it happens that we brew the morning or even yesterday’s tea.
But according to experts, this tea contains a huge amount of substances harmful to the body: tannins and bacteria, which very quickly increase their number in stale drink.
If a thin film has formed on the surface of the tea leaves, this tea is absolutely not worth drinking. Doctors are sure that the same “membrane” will cover our liver, intestines and gastric mucosa.
The third mistake is to store tea anywhere
Tea absorbs odors well. Therefore, a glass jar with a tight cork is an almost ideal container for storing it, ceramics are also suitable. But in plastic, tea melts, in metal it sour, in polyethylene it suffocates.
The fourth mistake is to use metal dishes
Do not boil water in metal kettles. Better – in enameled glass wherever it went, and even better – in tempered glass. Metal utensils impart a metallic flavor to the tea. Therefore, the metal strainer should also be replaced with a plastic one.
May your tea always be tasty and healthy!
