If you want to treat yourself to delicious homemade alcohol, but you don’t want to bother with proportions, grams and other nuances, there is a great option – “Four by Four Pouring”.
Tips before starting
To prepare this liqueur, any berry that comes to your hand or lies in the freezer is suitable. Whether it’s raspberries, cherries, strawberries, or some northern berry, anything will do.
With strong alcohol for insisting, you can also not bother. Use everything that is in the house: vodka, moonshine without a strong odor, cognac or food alcohol. The difference will be felt only in the strength of the finished drink, and cognac will give interesting shades.
No additional manipulations with the selected raw materials are required: to interrupt, remove the bones, grind or knead. Just wash, dry and continue cooking.
Homemade berry liqueur four by four
If desired, part of the sugar can be replaced with fragrant honey.
The capacity of the glass is determined by any assistant, but not less than 200 ml.
Ingredients
Any berry – 4 cups
Any strong alcohol – 4 glasses
Granulated sugar – 4 cups
Water – 4 glasses
Method of preparation
Pour the clean berry into a glass container with a volume of 3 liters. If you decide to use a frozen berry, then it must first be thawed.
Then pour 4 cups of warm water and add sugar. Mix well so that the sugar crystals dissolve a little.
Add alcohol, close the lid and leave for two weeks in a dark place at room temperature.
The finished drink must be carefully drained from the sediment, passed through any filter that is at home, and bottled.
Now we cool the homemade liqueur in the refrigerator and serve it to the table.
