The main problem with fine hair is the inability to keep its shape. They are difficult to create and even more difficult to maintain volume. What’s more, they tend to shrink when trying to smooth styling. Therefore, the task of styling is to thicken the hair, to make it more rigid.
Step-by-step instructions for creating a trendy New Year’s styling
Step 1. Apply volumizing agent to damp hair before drying.
This can be spray (a lighter formula that usually has a thermal protection option).
Or powdery spray – contains microscopic particles that thicken the hair along the entire length, and not just at the roots.
Or mousse – in addition to compaction, it provides a good root volume.
Step 2. We start drying with a hairdryer. This is a mandatory step, because it is impossible to get volume naturally (only if you use curlers). First, dry the head by half, then start using a skeletal comb or brush to “put” the root and add volume.

Step 3. Apply a powdery spray to fix and prolong the effect. This is especially useful in winter: after removing the hat, you just have to fluff your hair with your hands to restore volume.
Additionally, you can use stylers, curling irons, which will change the texture of the hair. As you know, curls and careless waves give a good volume in length, which can then be collected in a ponytail or bun.
Some people like to do corrugation at the roots, but, in my opinion, this is always visible and looks untidy.
