30 more things to throw away now

Saturday is the perfect day for cleaning.

Getting rid of excess is the best way to deal with stress. On a physical level, you understand that suddenly it became easier to breathe, that it became brighter in the house and it seemed like there was even more space, although they were raking the cupboards. And then miracles begin to happen in life in a magical way: something new, good and interesting appears. And all because we made room for this. We’ve put together a list of things to put in a garbage bag right now and ruthlessly take it to the trash heap. Check if you have these things lying around at home that pull you into depression.

1. Old chargers and cables, often broken, with protruding wires, working only in a certain position. But this charger – do you remember what it is from? No, they won’t come in handy. Yes, we throw it away.

2. Last year’s calendars – you know, the past year will not happen again, even if you really want to. It’s time to part with him and start looking into the future. And send the calendar to the trash along with last year’s diary or glider. The only thing worth leaving from there are valuable phone numbers.

3. Takeaway restaurant menus and flyers… They all have websites, so there is no need to keep advertising junk at home.

4. Scratched sunglasses – they do more harm than good. Sunglasses should protect your eyes not only from bright colors, but also from ultraviolet radiation. And scratches minimize that protection. Plus, it’s just inconvenient.

5. Instructions for assembling furniture. Yes, IKEA is a place of power from where we take furniture in the form of a DIY constructor. But when the quest is completed, there is no need to store the instructions.

6. Last year’s sunscreen cream… Better buy a new one. Sunscreens lose their primary function over time.

7. Old receipts and checks keeping at home is harmful. Except for the ones you need to get your tax deduction, or the ones that are pinned to your warranty coupons. And if this is a check from “Auchan” 3 meters long – why is it?

8. Board games and puzzlesthat are lacking in detail or that you no longer play. Those that are still suitable for use can be given to board fans, and it is better to just part with the rest.

9. Boxes from under the equipment… If you decide to return the equipment under warranty, you must accept it without packaging. And hiding a giant box in the house, even when folded, is not so easy.

10. Unpaired socks… Yes, the car often takes a tribute with socks, irrevocably hiding one of the pair. And if you don’t have a talent for making something beautiful and useful out of socks, you just have to throw away the restless socks.

11. Plastic dishes… What a kindergarten, why do you need it outside the picnic basket.

12. Old sports uniform… For example, sports bras – they wear out faster than you think. After six months of use, the sports bra still looks nothing, but there is little use from it. Your running shoe should be replaced every 8 months of regular runs.

13. Baby things – everything that could not be distributed or sold can only be thrown away. You may leave a couple of especially cute little things, but a suitcase of sliders is still too much.

14. Hair ties. If there is a suspicion that the cat played with it properly, or it was lying under the bathroom for God knows how long, throw it away. Your hair deserves the best.

15. Old condiments and sauces: unfortunately, their age is short, there is no trace of taste and aroma. Especially if they are stored in unopened paper bags.

16. Needlework: beads, threads, other craft, to which the hands never reached. Better give it to someone who knows how to make sense of these things.

17. Worn out linens and old towels: frayed, stained with unknown origin. Seriously, you really deserve better than old rags.

18. Package with packages – well, be already conscious consumers, get yourself a normal string bag for grocery shopping. And for garbage there are biodegradable bags – at least some contribution to reducing the turnover of plastic.

19. Old buttons and buttons… Most likely, they will lie in that bank for another couple of years, and then they will be safely lost. Make it easy for yourself.

20. Glass jars… If you don’t spin, then these treasures are unlikely to be useful to you. They can be sold, handed over to glass processing points, taken away to relatives or friends who have a vegetable garden; there are a lot of options.

21. Cosmetics… Shake up the cosmetic bag – you will surely find lipstick, eye shadow, pencils that you have never used and are unlikely to use. But eye cosmetics can be used for a maximum of three months.

22. Plastic and wire hangers – this is not serious. It’s like a “doshirak” instead of a normal meal. Swap them for cloth-covered or wooden hangers – they are much more humane about clothes.

23. Dead batteries. Yes, they cannot be thrown away, but that is not a reason to keep them.

24. Body scrubber. Some experts say it needs to be changed every three weeks. How many weeks of yours?

25. Stationery. It is unlikely that a modern person needs more than one notebook and one pen. Do you even remember what it is like to write with your hands?

26. Uncomfortable shoes. You are an adult, why make yourself uncomfortable? You need to love and appreciate yourself, and put your feet on only comfortable shoes.

27. Bank of change – spend already these invaluable savings. And we talked about what to do with banks above.

28. A mattress that is over eight years old. Disgusting fact: scientists have found that over 8 years of service, about 4,5 kg of dead skin flakes accumulate in the mattress.

29. Outdated technology. A film camera-soap dish with a scratched lens, a brick phone – rummage in the drawers, you will surely find some kind of treasure. And in the kitchen too. Now there are so many multifunctional gadgets that keeping several of the same type is simply a crime.

30. Applications on the phone. For example, Instagram, if you suddenly notice that it eats away too much of your life. Still, it’s better to live in the real world.
