3 ways to freeze greens

You can freeze almost any greens and herbs – choose according to your taste and plan where you will use it. It is, based on ideas, you can freeze greens one way or another, it is not necessary to store it dried.

Greens must be washed or blanched before freezing. However, do not forget that when dousing greens with boiling water, some of the vitamins are lost. Then dry the herbs on a towel or in a special dryer.

In bundles

You just need to take a few branches of the necessary greens and spread them on a flat surface, then send them to the freezer for freezing for about 2 hours. After that, just collect the bunches and carefully place them in a bag or container.

 

Chopped

You can immediately chop the greens and freeze them in this way, then you do not have to cook them before cooking.

Ice cubes

Simply chop the herbs finely and place them in the ice cube trays, then cover with water or broth. These greens look very nice and will be easy to cook – just toss the greens into a dish, where it will defrost immediately.
