3 reasons to drink fresh juices

Almost every morning I start with a glass of freshly squeezed vegetable juice, and if during the day I eat in a cafe or restaurant, I definitely order juice from carrots, celery and lemon in equal parts. There are three main reasons for my love for freshly squeezed vegetable juices (in addition to the taste that pleases me):

1. Freshly squeezed juice from vegetables contains a large amount of vitamins, minerals and other useful substances

Leafy green vegetables hold the record for their nutritional value on the planet; while low in calories, the nutritional value of greens is incredibly high. It contains a huge amount of antioxidants, carotenoids, flavonoids, vitamins A, C and E, folic acid, and calcium – along with other vitamins and minerals. Most people who are accustomed to the typical Western diet, which is based on toxic and oxidizing products (dairy, meat, processed, refined, high in added sugar), experience significant nutritional deficiencies. Drinking vegetables and herbs is an easy and quick way to make up for the damage from unhealthy food and nutritional deficiencies.

2. Fresh vegetable drinks maintain a healthy alkaline environment

Most vegetables and all greens are alkaline foods, they help to normalize the acid-base balance. And diseases much more often affect the body precisely when the level of acids in it is exceeded.

Green vegetable juices maintain an alkaline environment, which is vital for metabolism and proper fat distribution, and beneficial for weight loss. At the same time, greens supply the body with nutrients – you get an energy boost, thanks to which you are not afraid of fatigue. After all, if your body is constantly busy fighting disease, it is not surprising that you feel tired all the time. Maintain an alkaline state, get vitamins and minerals – and enjoy your newfound energy.

By the way, despite the very sour taste, lemon and lime “alkalize” the body, so do not be afraid to add a little lime and lemon juice to your vegetable drinks: this will only increase the alkaline effect.

3. Freshly squeezed vegetable juices reduce the risk of serious diseases and help fight them

The nutrients found in fresh herbs and vegetables protect us from a mind-boggling array of ailments, including:

– heart diseases,

– crab,

– skin diseases (eczema, psoriasis),

– high blood pressure,

– high cholesterol,

– reproduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses,

– asthma,

– migraine,

– insomnia,

– urinary tract infections,

– bowel problems.

In a word, drink freshly squeezed juices from vegetables and herbs and be cheerful and healthy!
