3 options for making fruit spring rolls

Spring rolls are a dish that has recently become widespread throughout the world. It can be safely considered useful and dietary, because it is prepared on the basis of rice paper and fresh and healthy vegetables or fruits. In this article, we suggest you prepare fruit spring rolls and two sauces for them.

A few words about rice paper: the taste and appearance of the finished dish largely depends on its quality, so it must be of high quality. High-quality rice paper contains only rice flour and water, a small content of salt and starch from tapioca is allowed. And besides, of course, the sheets must be intact, without chips or cracks. Otherwise, it will be difficult to work with it, and sometimes it is simply impossible.

Recipe 1. Spring rolls with pear and pineapple

A very beneficial combination for the filling is pear and pineapple. The sweet pear is balanced with sweet and sour pineapple in this recipe, and the whole thing is complemented by cream cheese. This dessert will certainly be appreciated by lovers of original combinations.

Ingredients:

  • Pear – 1 pcs.
  • Canned pineapple – 140 gr.
  • Curd cheese – 30 gr.
  • Coconut flakes – 3 tsp
  • Rice paper – 30 gr.
  • Water – 15 ml.

How to make spring rolls with pear and pineapple:

Spring rolls with pears are very easy to make. If you bought canned pineapple in rings, then they need to be cut into quarters, if you have pineapple slices, it’s okay, you can add it inside the roll, and leave a beautifully chopped pear in sight. So, cut the pineapple into quarters, the pear into slices. Dip a sheet of rice paper in water for 15-30 seconds and transfer to a dry surface. It is important to lay out the filling on the “rough” side. This will make the roll easier to curl and keep its shape better. Put pineapple on a soaked sheet of rice paper, then cream cheese, sprinkle with coconut, put pear and roll up. That’s all, the pear roll is ready. If you want to turn this roll into a gourmet buffet snack, simply substitute Camembert, Dor Blue, or Brie for cream cheese.

Recipe 2. Spring rolls with kiwi and orange

That’s where the real juicy mix is! Kiwi, combined with orange and the right sauce, which we will talk about a little later, is a real juicy bomb!

Ingredients:

  • Orange – 1/2 pc.
  • Kiwi – 1 pc.
  • Banana – 1 pcs.
  • Rice paper – 30 gr.
  • Water – 15 ml.

How to make spring rolls with kiwi and orange:

The preparation of this roll begins with the fact that all the fruits need to be peeled. Next, cut the orange, of course the seeds need to be removed. The kiwi must be cut into thin slices, and the banana is optional. Do not add cream cheese to this roll, because kiwi in tandem with dairy products starts to taste bitter. Put kiwi wedges, then banana and orange on a soaked sheet of rice paper. Roll up roll. A beautiful kiwi cut looks very bright and festive in ready-made rolls (calorizer). Such a dessert will undoubtedly decorate any table and cheer you up.

Recipe 3. Spring rolls with mint and nectarine

This is an incredibly juicy and crisp roll due to the mint leaves. It gives a special taste and aroma. The main thing here is not to overdo it with it, because if you add too much mint, it will overpower the delicate taste of nectarine and will also taste bitter.

Ingredients:

  • Banana – 1 pcs.
  • Nectarine – 1 pc.
  • Curd cheese – 30 gr.
  • Mint – 1 gr.
  • Rice paper – 40 gr.
  • Water – 20 ml.

How to make spring rolls with mint and nectarine:

The first step is to free the nectarine from the bone and cut it into thin slices. Peel and slice the banana. Rinse the mint well and free from twigs. We will add only 2-3 small mint leaves to each roll, if you have large leaves, add one at a time.

Then everything, as in the first two recipes, put mint on a soaked sheet of rice paper, then nectarine, curd cheese and a banana. Roll up the roll.

All three recipes are very easy to prepare. The main secret is in ripe juicy fruits. And you also need to roll up the roll quickly enough so that the rice paper does not become sour at all and does not begin to stick to the surface of the board, plate or to your hands. Despite the fact that the fruits have a bright taste, it would be nice to add sauces to the rolls. We recommend serving these rolls with chocolate or honey sauce.

Chocolate sauce

To prepare this sauce, you will need only two ingredients – this is chocolate – 90 gr. and cream – 80 ml. You can choose any chocolate (bitter or milk according to your taste), but it is better to take low-fat cream.

Break the bar of chocolate into small pieces, add cream and melt continuously in a water bath, stirring constantly. Spring rolls with this sauce are somewhat reminiscent of chocolate fondue.

Honey sauce

This sauce goes well with all rolls, and it is especially good with kiwi and orange. It reveals all facets of taste, and fruits become brighter and juicier with it.

  • Honey – 2 tablespoon

  • Cinnamon (optional) – 1 tsp
