Our smaller brothers every day confirm the fact that they are beings from another planet. Cats can crawl into any crevice, even get out of a closed box, where, of course, they climbed before, – every now and then they prove that in fact cats are liquid, and sometimes even birds. And they just despise the laws of physics.
Veterinarians say it’s all about the amazing sense of balance that cats have. And also in flexibility: their collarbones, for example, are not attached to anything. They are just two “free” bones in their body. Thanks to this, cats can wade into holes where, it seems, even their heads will not get through.
And also the claws. Thanks to them, cats can even climb a vertical wall, although veterinarians say that this is impossible. As much as possible! If only there was even the slightest roughness to catch on. Vinyl wallpaper or a mosquito net is generally practically a walking embankment for a cat.
All these talents allow cats to balance on the handle of a car door, to catch balance on such structures that they themselves miraculously hold, to hang parallel to the ground – how is that in general ?! – or crawl under the bed with your back down, moving your paws over the lattice.
