Therapeutic gymnastics is the main method of conservative treatment of osteochondrosis. It strengthens the muscular corset of the spine, develops the necessary flexibility and helps to stretch those muscles and ligaments that are difficult to relax in everyday life.
The proposed sets of exercises are quite simple, the duration of each is 20 minutes. You need to perform one such complex at least 3 times a week, and best of all daily. Most of the exercises are done lying on your back, stomach, side or on all fours, which reduces pressure in the intervertebral discs. All exercises included in the complexes are physiological in their parameters, therefore, when doing gymnastics, the muscles do not overwork.
The productivity and effectiveness of classes depend on their regularity and adherence to the correct technique for performing exercises: training should not be accompanied by an increase in pain. If an exercise seems too difficult, or discomfort occurs during its implementation, you can skip it.
The video describes in detail two sets of exercises for osteochondrosis: for the cervicothoracic and lumbosacral spine. Each complex consists of two parts: training and developing. The correct posture directly depends on the state of the cervicothoracic spine.
