The Samsung plant in the Kaluga region announced the start of production of washing machines, which are included in the Smart-home category. The washers support the Bixby smart platform via a Wi-Fi connection, as well as remote control using voice commands with the Alice assistant from Yandex or the SmartThings mobile application.
The first released Russian-assembled Samsung washing machines were two models – WW6600R with a capacity of 7 kg and WW6100R, which is designed for 8 kg of laundry. The first washing machine is also additionally equipped with AddWash technology.
Washers have many features that provide maximum efficiency and ease of use of equipment, as well as significantly extend the life of the device itself.
For example, due to a specially developed technology for water entering the drum (from above and below), as well as more efficient operation of the heating element, a full wash cycle has become available in these SMAs, which lasts only 49 minutes. At the same time, the minimum duration of the program does not affect the quality of washing.
The Bixby smart platform significantly expands the possibilities of technology in terms of its use. With its help, the machine itself is able to select a program for a specific type of laundry, as well as set up a washing schedule for a more economical consumption of resources. The Smart Check system monitors the operation of the equipment and, in the event of a malfunction, gives advice on troubleshooting. And this significantly saves not only the time of the owners, but also the cost of a possible call of the master.
To maintain cleanliness, the device has an Eco Drum Clean + mode – automatic cleaning of the drum and the cuff of the hatch from dirt, as well as StayCleanDrawer – a specially developed algorithm for the flow of water into the powder cuvette, which ensures complete washing without residues.
It is impossible not to mention the sensational chip from Samsung – AddWash. This small additional door (located on the main one) allows you to reload forgotten items after the program has started, add fabric softener directly to the drum, and even load laundry during the rinse phase. According to research conducted by Samsung in conjunction with Market Sense, all AddWash washing machine owners use the small door all the time during washing and find it very useful.
For the production of smart washing machines, the Russian plant uses more advanced technologies. For example, updated molds for molding plastic parts and components. New smart cars are available in two colors: White (white) and Inox (dark steel). It will be possible to purchase them in the official Samsung online store in Russia or in the stores of brand partners. In addition, Russian-made washing machines are planned to be exported to other countries. And the cost of equipment will depend on the model – from 36 to 000 rubles.
