Whether you are welcoming your first or your third child, every expecting parent deserves to take a babymoon – another word for a final fling before transitioning to sleepless nights and dirty diapers – before the little one arrives. These days, babymoons are all the rage with couples – some properties even offer babymoon packages.
Looking for babymoon ideas? We’ve got you covered. Where you choose to go for your babymoon will vary depending on finances and personal preferences, as well as the time of year you are traveling, but most expecting mothers will want a destination where they can unwind and have some romantic moments with their significant other.
From luxury spa resorts to boutique hotels with ocean views, San Diego to Sedona, Paris to Park City, check out our list of best babymoon destinations.

Home to world-famous Grace Bay Beach, a picture-perfect, white-sand crescent that runs for seven miles on Providenciales Island, Turks and Caicos is the perfect babymoon idea for couples who don’t want to be around mega resorts or huge crowds.
While the island does have some all-inclusive resorts, it also has plenty of boutique properties and a laid-back, luxe vibe that’s all about chilling in beachfront cabanas staring into a picturesque, turquoise Caribbean Sea.
If you enjoy being in the water, there is excellent snorkeling at a few different spots just offshore, or you can join a day excursion to places further afield. For lodging, check out the ultra luxe Seven Stars Resort & Spa . It sits right on Grace Bay Beach and offers all-suite accommodation. The three restaurants serve island-inspired fare, and all sorts of activities can be arranged, including golf on a nearby championship course.

When it comes to romance, it doesn’t get much lovelier than Venice. Take a gondola ride down its myriad of canals (you can even book with a singing gondolier should you choose) and past beautiful Baroque buildings, pausing under the Bridge of Sighs for a kiss.
Afterwards, stroll for hours around its piazzas and cobblestoned streets, stopping for fresh pasta or pizza at a sidewalk café in St. Mark’s Square before marveling at the surrounding architecture.
Expecting parents can pre-catch up on the sleep they’ll lose after the baby arrives without skipping breakfast when staying at Ca’Maria Adele . This luxe, boutique hotel is ultraromantic, with damask wallpaper and patterned floors, and it serves breakfast until noon.
